To thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and actively respond to the major deployment of "deepening the reform of the ecological civilization system" proposed at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the opening ceremony of the 17th "Architecture Day" Activity and the 30th Anniversary Tour Exhibition of Chang'an University was held in front of the Yifu Library at the North Campus on the afternoon of May 13.

On behalf of the university, Tao Jidong extended a welcome to the guests attending the event and expressed gratitude to all sectors of society that have supported the university's development and cared for students' growth over the years. He pointed out that the "Architecture Day" Activity is a college student innovation activity with a fine tradition, solid foundation and distinctive characteristics, and has always received support and care from the industry, alumni and enterprises. He hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all evaluation experts, alumni, enterprises and all sectors of society, build practical platforms, jointly construct a highland for talent cultivation, and better promote the all-round education to a new level.

This session of Architecture Day has set up a competition themed "Impressions of Nature: Micro-Space Design and Construction", which highlights the design concept of "seeing the big from the small". It guides students majoring in architecture-related fields to deeply grasp the dialectical relationship of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", explore a new paradigm of intensive and sustainable urban design, and contribute the wisdom and innovative strength of youth to promoting the green development of urban and rural construction and creating a poetic living environment.
